She’s Not Available

Someone who is married or separated is absolutely not available for a relationship. It is important not to become involved emotionally or physically with these individuals, no matter how strong the attraction because it will only lead to heartbreak and pain.

Cassidy Asks Nancy:

“I met this woman and continued to see her in passing. One day she asked for my number and from there we were off. She let me know she was unhappily married and didn’t want to involve anyone else in her problems. We talked constantly, always flirting. She tells me I’m the first thing she thinks about and how attracted she is to me.

She agreed to meet me for drinks on her day off and waited until the last minute to cancel. I stopped by her place at one in the morning just to make sure we were okay. She told me we were. The next day she messages me not to show up at her door anymore and to stop talking to her. What did I do?

Nancy’s Advice:

You did not do anything; however it is important to realize that this woman is absolutely not available to you for a relationship of any kind. She is married and that means she is off the market to a single man. I realize she approached you and sought out an emotional connection to fill the void she feels in her marriage.

It is so vital to guard your heart in matters of love. If a woman is married or separated she is in a committed relationship and is off limits to you. No matter how much you are attracted to her, it is important to take a step of faith and walk away. God will bless you with the right person when you are faithful and obedient.
